Professional Services Implementation Engineer

Pricer is seeking a positive, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Professional Services Implementation Engineer to work closely with Customers, Partners, and Account Managers to provide product technical implementation and installation support in customer retail environments for rollout and deployment phases.


What will you be doing?

•Collaborate with Account Managers, Services Teams, Customers, and Partners to determine approach, schedule, and logistics for deployments

•Survey stores on-site to capture requirements

•Provide technical specifications for system installations

•Prepare, stage, and configure software and hardware components for installations.

•Consult installation technicians on requirements and best practices

•Provide on-site support to customers and low voltage installation technicians

•Install, setup, and configure equipment on-site

•Perform on-site wireless coverage testing to evaluate system performance

•Troubleshoot to resolve technical issues and escalate as needed

•Train customers and end users to use the system with best practices

•Reproduce and report issues to help with issue resolution

•Other related technical responsibilities as needed

What are your qualifications and requirements?

QUALIFICATIONS (knowledge, knowhow, attitude)

·      Proven experience providing remote and onsite technical services to set up and deploy software and hardware devices in customer environments

·      Ability to travel to customer sites independently and efficiently

·      Effective troubleshooting to determine root cause

·      Good planning and preparation skills with creative resolution skills when necessary

·      Strong and clear verbal and written communication

·      Follow through and multi-tasking abilities

·      Proven team collaborator and contributor

·      Solid understanding of technology components and concepts including:

·      SaaS / Enterprise applications

·      Networking communication protocols, components, and security

·      Hardware/device configurations, connectivity methods, firmware management

·      Mobile devices with barcode scanning

·      Basic understanding or willingness to learn:

·      API integration and methods

·      Data integration and relational DBs
